Recently, research results jointly conducted by Huluwa Pharmaceutical Group and the Institute of Chinese Materia Medica of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences were published in Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs, a double-core journal in the field of pharmacy. This study, titled "Chemical Components of Changyanning Granules and Pharmacodynamic and Metabolomic Analysis of Their Effects in Improving Intestinal Mucosal Injury", provides authoritative scientific support for the clinical application of this drug.
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs is a "double-core" journal listed in both the Peking University Core Journal List and the China Science and Technology Core Journal List. The publication of this study marks authoritative recognition of the basic research on Changyanning Granules. Using internationally advanced technologies, the study identified 52 active components in the granules, among which flavonoids and organic acids were predominant, forming the key pharmacological material basis for repairing intestinal mucosal injury.
Notably, researchers have, for the first time, identified that Changyanning Granules repair intestinal mucosa through a triple regulatory network involving "inflammation-barrier-metabolism". This not only confirms its significant intestinal mucosal repair effects and provides potential for expanding its indications, but also reveals the synergistic mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine formulations characterized by "multi-component, multi-target, and multi-pathway" interactions, thereby offering an innovative research direction for related studies.
Over many years, Changyanning Granules have demonstrated strong clinical performance, with confirmed efficacy in the treatment of acute and chronic enteritis, ulcerative colitis, and related diseases. Data from Menet show that the product ranks among the top three in the intestinal traditional Chinese medicine segment within China's public medical institution terminals, and ranked second in hospital sales in this category in 2024, reflecting strong market acceptance.
Huluwa Pharmaceutical Group has long been engaged in the field of traditional Chinese medicine and strictly controls every stage of Changyanning Granules production, from herbal selection to manufacturing and quality inspection, to ensure product quality. In 2024, the Post-Marketing Research and Evaluation Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies conducted an objective and systematic assessment of the product's efficacy, safety, innovation, cost-effectiveness, appropriateness, and accessibility, earning wide recognition from the clinical academic community.
Currently, the incidence of intestinal diseases is increasing year by year, and there is an urgent market demand for effective and safe therapeutic options. With its unique formulation, well-defined mechanism of action, and excellent therapeutic efficacy, Changyanning Granules have broad prospects and are expected to be more widely used in clinical practice, benefiting a larger patient population.
