2024 “New Quality Productive Forces Driving Long-Term Brand Growth” Science and Technology Forum & The Second Huluwa Science and Technology Association Annual Meeting Held in Haikou, Hainan

On the morning of April 25, the 2024 “New Quality Productive Forces Driving Long-Term Brand Growth” Science and Technology Forum & The Second Huluwa Science and Technology Association Annual Meeting were held in Haikou, Hainan province. The event aimed to establish a platform for collaboration between Hainan’s medical science and technology professionals and leading experts from across the country. It focused on integrating new quality productive forces elements into the pharmaceutical industry to boost the development of Hainan’s pharmaceutical sector. Over 150 participants attended, including experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and key representatives from the Hainan Association for Science and Technology, Haikou Association for Science and Technology, and the Huluwa Science and Technology Association.

During the event, Huluwa Pharmaceutical Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the team of Academician Zhang Qiang from the Chinese Academy of Engineering. This partnership marks the joint establishment of Academician Zhang Qiang's workstation and signifies Huluwa Pharmaceutical's move into cutting-edge drug formulations, including nanomedicines.

At the meeting, Jia Ning, Director of the Hainan Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone Administration, delivered a keynote presentation titled “New Measures to Promote the Internationalization of New Drugs”.

Zeng Yu, President of the Hainan South China Sea Health Industry Research Institute, also delivered a keynote presentation on the “Development Prospects of Health Foods and Foods for Special Medical Purposes”.

Liu Yangyang, Executive President of the Li Nationality Medicine Branch of the China Medical Association of Minorities, delivered a keynote presentation titled “Analysis of the Development Potential of South China Medicine.”

How to cultivate and develop new quality productive forces in the pediatric traditional Chinese medicine sector and how to integrate these forces with brand development?

Several expert participants discussed the crucial role of technological innovation in driving industrial upgrading and empowering high-quality corporate development with new quality productive forces. They also explored key areas for cultivating and developing new quality productive forces in the pharmaceutical industry, offering fresh ideas for the innovative growth of Hainan's pharmaceutical sector.
